Job description
Key Responsibilities · Execute and supervise utility piping and mechanical pipeline installation activities at project sites. · Handle piping erection, fabrication, installation, alignment, supports and equipment connections. · Read and understand P&ID, GA drawings, isometric drawings and piping layouts. · Coordinate with fabrication teams, subcontractors, clients and other site departments. · Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is completed as per project schedule. · Supervise pipe cutting, fit-up, welding, erection, supports and testing activities. · Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspection and approval of piping works. · Ensure proper material availability at site and monitor material usage. · Prepare daily progress reports, manpower reports and material requirements. · Coordinate hydro testing, pneumatic testing, flushing, pressure testing and commissioning-related activities. · Ensure piping installation is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and method statements. · Monitor manpower productivity and subcontractor performance. · Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and work permits. · Coordinate with Safety, QA/QC, Planning, Billing and Project Management teams. · Identify site issues and provide technical solutions in coordination with the Project Manager. · Support preparation of as-built drawings and project documentation. Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred: · Utility Piping Projects · Mechanical Pipeline Projects · Industrial Piping · Process Utility Lines · Chilled Water / Cooling Water Piping · Compressed Air Lines · Steam / Condensate Lines · Fire Water / Utility Water Piping · Industrial Project Piping Fabrication & Erection Required Skills · Good knowledge of utility piping execution. · Ability to read P&ID and isometric drawings. · Knowledge of piping fabrication and erection. · Good site coordination and manpower handling skills. · Basic knowledge of QA/QC and piping inspection procedures. · Good communication and reporting skills. · Willingness to work at project sites across India.Apply Now
